Private online support, based in BC, available across Canada

Change your relationship with alcohol. Quietly, safely, on your terms.

Whether you want to drink less or stop entirely, both goals are valid here. A short private check, an online assessment with a licensed BC clinician, and proven medication options, supported by the pharmacists at Carebridge Pharmacy on Main Street.

Takes about 5 minutes. No payment details. For BC residents with MSP, the clinician assessment is billed to MSP, so there is no visit fee; elsewhere in Canada a private fee applies and is shown before anything is charged. Completing a check does not guarantee a prescription; a licensed clinician makes every decision.

If you have quietly wondered about your drinking, you are in the right place.

Many capable, thoughtful people drink more than they want to. Wanting to change is not a crisis or a confession; it is a health decision, and there are treatments that work. You do not need to hit a low point, label yourself, or tell anyone before you start.

Drink less, or stop. Your choice.

Cutting back and stopping are both legitimate, evidence-supported goals. You choose the direction, and you can change your mind along the way. Nobody here will push you toward a goal that is not yours.

Medication changes the odds.

Health Canada approved medications, backed by Canadian and international guidelines, can reduce cravings and quiet the pull of alcohol. A licensed BC clinician reviews your assessment and decides what is appropriate for you.

Real people behind it.

Carebridge's pharmacy staff review your file and connect you with an independent, licensed BC clinician at one of our partner clinics for assessment and, where appropriate, prescribing. The pharmacists then handle dispensing, coverage checks, and follow-up, with free discreet delivery anywhere in BC or pickup on Main Street.

How it works

  1. A short, free, private check

About 5 minutes. A few questions about your drinking and your goal, using a standard screening tool. No payment, no judgment, and your answers save automatically so you can pause any time.

  2. A fuller online assessment

A careful intake covering your health, medications, and safety. Carebridge's pharmacy staff review your file and arrange your assessment with a licensed BC physician or nurse practitioner at one of our partner clinics, who decides whether medication for alcohol use is appropriate. For BC residents with MSP the clinician assessment is billed to MSP, so there is no visit fee; for people elsewhere in Canada, or without MSP, a private fee applies and is shown in full first.

  3. Medication and pharmacist support

If medication is prescribed, Carebridge Pharmacy can dispense it, check it against PharmaNet, review your insurance and PharmaCare coverage, and follow up with you. Free discreet delivery across BC, or pickup at 4484 Main Street. Outside BC, staff confirm delivery options or transfer the prescription to a pharmacy near you. You may always fill your prescription at any pharmacy you prefer.

  4. Ongoing follow-up, at your pace

Progress with alcohol is rarely a straight line, and that is expected. Pharmacist check-ins help you adjust, stay safe, and keep moving toward your goal, whether that is fewer drinks or none.

The Sinclair Method, explained honestly

Many people come to us asking about the Sinclair Method: taking naltrexone about an hour before drinking so that, over time, alcohol loses its reward and drinking gradually falls. The medication behind it is well supported by evidence for reducing drinking. Trials of the specific method are more limited, and we say so plainly.

A note on safety. If you drink heavily every day, stopping suddenly can be dangerous. Our screening asks about this specifically, and the plan your clinician builds will keep withdrawal safety front and centre. Please do not stop abruptly on your own; we will help you find the safe path.

Private by design

You may be reading this on a phone you keep close, at a time when nobody else is around. We built quitOH for exactly that moment.

  • Discreet from start to finish. Plain packaging for delivery, discreet contact by email or text only with your consent, and no social features or public testimonials.
  • Your data stays in Canada. Personal health information is encrypted and handled under BC's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's PIPEDA. We never send health information to analytics or marketing tools.
  • You control who knows. We recommend keeping your family doctor informed, and with your consent we will do that for you. If you prefer to keep this separate for now, we respect that.
  • Anywhere in Canada. Based on Main Street in Vancouver, available to adults across the country. Only the fee differs: no visit fee for BC residents with MSP, a private fee elsewhere.
  • Stop and resume any time. Your answers save as you go. If you need to close the page mid-question, nothing is lost; a secure link lets you pick up where you left off, on any device.

The first step is small on purpose.

Five minutes, ten standard questions, and a little honesty with yourself. That is all the first step asks. Whatever you decide afterwards, you will know more than you do now.
